Course Description

This comprehensive one-week training series provides participants with certifications in three key Fiber Optics Specialist areas. Upon successful completion, you will acquire essential skills and certifications to enter or advance in the fiber optics industry.

 

Training Program:

Certified Fiber Optics Technician (CFOT)

  • Gain a solid foundation in fiber optics through this practical, real-world course. The CFOT training provides a comprehensive understanding of fiber network operations and is a highly recommended prerequisite for advanced certifications.

 

Certified Fiber Optics Splicing Specialist (CFOS/S):

  • Master the art of mechanical and fusion splicing techniques in this hands-on specialist program. Participants will build their own fiber networks, gaining valuable experience in using industry- standard splicing methods.

 

Certified Fiber Optics Testing Specialist (CFOS/T):

  • This advanced course focuses on the testing and maintenance of single-mode fiber networks. With an emphasis on using OLTS (Optical Loss Test Set) and OTDR (Optical Time Domain Reflectometer), participants will tackle real-world challenges to develop their expertise in network troubleshooting and upkeep.
